Concluding four years of study, Philip received his Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School. In addition, he was awarded the John Erskine Prize for exceptional scholastic and artistic achievement.
CAPA Benefit Recital
Hosted by the Cornerstone Church Anaheim, Philip Sheegog will be performing a benefit recital on December 29 to raise awareness and capital for the Cornerstone Academy for Performing Arts (CAPA). Philip will be joined in a post-concert talkback with Sara Thresher, founder and artistic director of CAPA.
Here, Now, Always
In collaboration with seven Juilliard composers, Philip Sheegog is creating a seven-movement, poetically-driven, faith-inspired musical program to be premiered at The Juilliard School on April 25, 2017. Video interviews with composers and performers the can be found in the new "Projects" tab above!
Music Academy of the West 2017

New Dances: Edition 2016
Philip Sheegog performs First by John Heginbotham at "New Dances: Edition 2016" from December 7-11. Alongside colleagues Max Tan, Angela Wee, Jacob van der Sloot and Isabella Palacpac, Philip will present the first movement of Franz Schubert's String Quintet in C Major alongside Juilliard Dance's Class of 2020. Choreography for First was created by Juilliard alumni John Heginbotham.
Choreographers and Composers
A unique collaboration between third-year choreographers and composers, Choreographers and Composers (ChoreoComp) is an annual treat at The Juilliard School that combines the artistic imaginations of two distinct art forms. Philip Sheegog performs Keepsake, choreographed by Zachary Gondor and composed by William Healy, and Until Now, choreographed by Taylor LaBruzzo and composed by Michael Dean Parsons.
